The Scorpion Pepper, or Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Pepper (Capsicum chinense), was cultivated in Trinidad and Tobago. At 1.2 million Scoville Heat Units, it was considered the hottest pepper in the world from 2012-2017. It packs a punch, but comes with a fruit-like flavor. This very hot sauce brings that sweet, fruity flavor up front followed by intense heat. This is the Alchemist's choice for the Super Hot peppers because it has such a wonderful strong flavor.
